Anyone else notice that the windmill outside Sweeite Belle's bedroom window is spinning the opposite direction it was when they showed the house and surrounding area a few seconds before, only one among numerous inconsistancies in the episode

I love inconsistencies, especially when they are put there on purpose(Anything buy Jhonen Vasquez : JTHM, Invader Zim and such)

I'd have to rank this episode as one of my favorites so far this season.

The two parter had some good stuff, but was meh over all.

The Pinkie episode was good but "Babs Seed" just totally won my "Favorite episode of season 3 so far" award.

You understood Babs motivation for being a bully, the CMC's reaction to her was awesome, everyone felt in character, Fun References [A team vehicle montage scene, Derpy and Doctor Whooves in the movie theater] The musical number was GREAT... it's good hearing the CMC's get a good song after the "intentionally terrabad" Rock theme they had back in S1. [which I still love lol]

The CMC are a fun group, and it's good seeing them get used well.

Oh let's not forget, Rarity's gonna be really mad Sweetie took her edible body powder. >_>
[apon review, ok, SO sweetie didn't take her edible body powder, but she's aware Rarity has it.]

Also, Scootaloo is best Mechanic pony!

I took a closer look as well... It appears Dr Whooves is with some other pony. Eyes are too straight and color is not the same gray as Derpy (the pony in the vid actually isn't even gray).

Except (SHOCK) it's Cloud Kicker in the theater. The episode is Derpy-less.

The episode is full of little shoutbacks to previous episodes- Magnum (Sweetie's Dad) with the very burnt breakfast, the wolf costume Babs borrowed from Nightmare Night last season, and the other costumes in the rack next to the CMC...

...no, she's not.

Babs is actually the first-time voice acting of Brian Drummond's (Mr. Carrot Cake) daughter, Bryanna.

I'd find it highly amusing if she ends up Pumpkin Cake's voice later on, once she can actually talk.

So I just found out that Rarity's father is called "Magnum" on some iOS game. That got Me thinking: "Hmmm, big bushy mustache, floral-print shirt, named Magnum, can it be?!"

The coloration may have been funny to some, but the actual animation was pretty good on Babs. Namely stuff like the reflexive flank-covering and the mane flopping down, though Season 3's been kind to new characters on looking good.

Unless they're Sombra. Then that's all they get. Other than CRYYYYSTALS and an obsession with stairs.

Babs being a total jerk at this point in the episode (during a musical number), she sabotages the movie, snatches the drink, and...well...ends it while terrorizing the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
