As much as Equestria/Ponyville seems like the perfect utopian society, I'd be careful what you wish for. We know from the episodes that:

- Ponyville is exceptionally dangerous (Ref. Mare do Well)
- References to bullets, cannons, and other weapons, indicating former war.
- Demonic/evil creatures and spirits.
- Changeling terrorist attacks.
- Rude and self-serving citizens (Ref. Putting Your Hoof Down)
- Plants that deform you (Ref. Bridle Gossip)
- Constant teasing/gloating (Ref. Any CMC episode/Hurricane Fluttershy/Dragon Quest)

In all honesty, it appears our favorite ponyville citizens put up with the same amount of arrogant and hateful people that we put up with, and have many worldly issues that mirror our own.

The only difference is it seems more perfect because our main characters are all very good friends to eachother, which allows them to overcome the constant struggle of daily life.

So...

Main characters band together in friendship = Bronies band together in friendship
Friendship overcomes obstacles in life = Bronies' friendship overcomes haters and stereotypes
Equestria world issues = Main world issues...mostly.

Thus...

Equestria = Our World

If you want to experience the magic of friendship and Equestria, you need not look further than the bronies and friends around you. And with that, you can do anything.

Oh I understand this completely and well aware that they deal with nearly the same crap as we do, the difference being in MLP it appears to be easier to work out differences and the over all setting is much more cheerful and positive. I also embrace my bronie breatharian and friends. *looks out the window* Is that a rainbow?
