This is the OC pony Vendetta1130 created for my daughter. It's taken me this long to post it because I wanted to put up her reaction also buuuut my other daughters lost the charger to my wife's good camera, our cell phone cameras are crap, and Omi saw the pic before i had a chance to sort out that situation.
Her response was [signed] pretty blue pony. (Verbatim, so to speak). But when I pointed out the hearing aid, she was all "Whooaaa! Shee Shwoo Got!" [signed hearing aid] "Buahahahahah!"

So is this going to be a one shot movie or a theatrical pilot for a TV series?

Seems like it just a movie and not a spin-off series, like the first informations in december suggested.

The movie will be shown in theaters in June and is scheduled for a television broadcast in fall this year. DVD and Blu-Ray release is scheduled for august. At least according to the information on mlp.wikia.com.

i think its going just be a one off movie, it'll have its own ending, with the return of twilight ofc.
A friend put it best, how many cartoons have had movies made that are cannon, but stand alone as a story.
80's kids will know this point to be very true.

looking at it twilight goes on her own,
so my first thought was, are they removing twilight from season 4 to develop her own princess'y stuff in a new world (Diplomatic skills and such) while the other remain in pony ville to develop their own trades/skills.
or possibly make season 4 CMC focused on getting their cutie marks.

but i feel my friends point was more on the mark as things stand.

So.... Spike's a flipping dog? Uhg. His dynamic in the show was allways the kid brother, not the pet. And what about twi's friends? Are those supposed to be human-world equivilents of the mane 6, or did the rest of the mane 6 go through the portal to join up with twilight?

I agree,Spike was more of a little brother to Twilight if not a adoptive son so making him into a pet is a bit degrading. And according to the MLP wiki Twi does met human equivalents to Her Friends.
