Please, please, PLEASE keep Rule 34, clopfics/cloppics, and anything related to apple.mov / dress.mov OUT OF THIS THREAD.
A plot can be hot.
But it's not something I look for. And I certainly don't want it shoved in my face, in our little thread.

Also, please note that we have word censors on here for a reason; posting pictures containing offensive language will be deleted, as were the two really really long posts containing many other pictures. Looking at you, Vorianathamas.

So Endeth The Lesson!

The only thing that annoys me about most 'bronies' is that they treat watching a cartoon show as if theyre coming out of the closet about something. I think the furries did something like that as well, which lead to 3/4 of the fandom alienating themselves.

I'm starting to think it's an attention seeking thing.
Nothing against regular fans, though.

... alright everyone knows i'm pro pony but I am NOT pro massive IMAGE SPAM.

that's exactly why people on the rest of the internet gets pissed off at bronies. Yes pony images can be used as creative replies but when you spam, you loose the tasteful meaning of what is to be represented. The idea of ponies goes from "ok that's unique/intresting" to "OMG this again?"

That's with any IDEA though. You don't want to overload a message, people will just take one glance at the "noise", lock down their minds, and walk away.

I would say that's partial true to any hobby where someone is a fanatic. Just like sports. I don't watch them regulary (doesn't matter which one) but the fanatics that go on and on about Fantasy League stats and so forth get on my nerves cause they're pretty much saying

"LOOK HOW MUCH I'M INTO MY HOBBY! I KNOW A TON OF STUFF THAT I BET YOU'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF"

I think Vorianathamas should write a letter to Mason about the stuff he learned today about the forum. :P

Ponies are the glue which holds the internet together these days.

/AGREE... since we invented Pony glue (100% made from the "results" of testing AC 20s on ponies) all things have been stuck together =)

Thats true. I've drawn ponies on my sheezyart account but I don't try to force it into peoples faces. I think I just associate the name brony with the fanatics that try to convert people into the cult of my little pony, and fans as the people who just watch the show and maybe draw some fanart once or twice.

Could be for attention, but it could also be from a lack of self-esteem already present.

Personally, I didn't really have a, "coming out of the closet," moment. Interestingly, I don't feel there's anything wrong with an older man watching a cartoon, or playing video games, etc. Unfortunately, the, "coming out of the closet," mentality gets fueled by stereotyped bias. Either somebody feels it's wrong to like a show like MLP as an older adult, or somebody tries to make them feel like it's wrong to like the show as an adult.
