I do believe there is some level of color enchantment in that guard armor. How else could all the unicorns be grey and all the pegasi white in a world where everypony is a different color, or all the colors.

Entirely possible, perhaps to hold status as a Guard, you get essentially an "Identity Protection" spell placed on the armor.

It's similar to the explination as to why no one notices who Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Scouts are when they transform... there's a mild illusion spell that tricks other's perceptions in regards to features.

That...actually sounds pretty plausible....

Read In Her Majesty's Royal Service. It gives a different explanation for the identical-looking guards - a much more comical one. The whole story's a riot, actually. (Though yeah, the "enchanted armor" hypothesis is more plausible if we want to take this seriously.)

To prove your point:
This is a Mechwarrior-forum
Mechwarrior is serious business
Ponies are in this forum
Ponies persist in this forum

Which leads us to the conclusion that Ponies are indeed serious business.
At least try to prove your points, gee.

Also, since I have just proven your point, because I'm clearly superior, let me remind you all of the following:

Does this mean giant pony robots are even more Serious Business? The Word of Lowtax keeps trying to convince me it's all about the giant bird robots.

Also, because nopony in the Pony Thread is a bad thing (warning, potential Season 3 spoiler):

That's a pretty ****-poor warning, since my peripheral vision is going to see the spoiler image anyway while reading the spoiler warning. <.< We have the spoiler tag for a reason, please use it. =-(

Sorry about that. Had the image spoilered, found it was a broken image tag, redid the image, forgot to respoiler. Fixed.

Incidentally, the sequel's rather good too. And sometimes, the best "magic" is the commonplace used creatively.

Except for potatoes. Those are dangerous.

You see Sesam, my point was to not, as you say, 'lay it all out on the table', but to let other people acknowledge and present that for me. After all, one never shows their hand even under threat of death.

So thank you for doing my dirty work without asking.

To be fair, this is about the crappiest overly "help"ful but constantly breaking stuff or preventing you from doing what you intend forum software ever.

Anyway, more best biggest pony.

I think you just didn't know how to prove that yourself...
'sides, if you want to make empty claims, make them in the beta-forums, where they belong!
