Jump Jets are almost there as the extra upwards thrust has helped considerably, however the reduction in fuel has made some previously attainable ground to upper platform jumps now impossible.
This could potentially be fixed by tweaking an aspect of JJ that has always irked me for its nonsensical nature whilst allowing all other aspects to stay the same.
Allow JJ fuel to regenerate when not being fired, rather than only when a mech has feet on the ground!
This will introduce a further skill impact by creating pulse firing of Jets to eke out greater distance.
There really is no reason that fuel would not regenerate if a mech happened to be falling and the JJ are not being used.
Do that and I reckon we are done.

if not balanced carefully this could result in some mechs continuously flying. <-that would be bad.

Get yourself an Awesome, build in 160 rated Reactor, 3 JJ's and fly through the
whole level instead of walking.
But i support of JJ Fuel regeneration when not on Ground up to 10%.
So that you get the 10% JJ Fuel blast to save your Legs.
