I'm sure there aren't a lot of developer resources to go around, but I was playing a few matches tonight with my tablet set up for grid reference, and I couldn't help but think - wouldn't it be awesome if I had a live battlegrid feed on my tablet, or second screen? Obviously, it would need to be keyed to my account, and radar - so I wouldn't be receiving more information in-game, just the same info, but in a more convenient and immersive fashion.
And yes, I'm basically talking about the screen that the custom controller was supposed to ship with, but unless this feature is specifically being held in order to benefit that controller, it would be fantastic to get a little battle awareness on a second screen - perhaps even other mech systems on a second display - health or Ammo/Heatsink/ECM. Plenty of opportunity for the Art department to spiffy things up, too - nothing wrong with a heavy design scheme as long as information is still conveyed.
So what do you think, guys? Can we expect any 2nd screen / status info action in the future?

There's lot's of opportunity for an running on another device or another screen: group readiness, comms, team health, battlegrid, team cockpit view (ie spectate while you're alive). If you're using it on a second screen, it could be an app launched by the primary app if the user selects it.
