I'm sure they do, but do you even realize how servers work and the amount of redundancy and security they have to have to keep your computer from being hacked? not to mention the fact that servers don't work exactly like our clients at home. today is Tuesday and that means Microsoft came out with its updates, its take longer for a server to apply those then your computer does. No to mention with games online they have more than one server type of server to allow the game to run and they are all dependent on each other to make the game run.

So they should have their employees come in at midnight so they can have the down time then? Saying they are catering to anyone is like saying someone who gets up and goes to the bathroom, showers, or does laundry in the middle of the the night is catering to the utility companies because their water usage is during off-peak hours. They do it when it's convenient for them.
