Amazingly un-available. I know this feels strange, but there's an actual timeline as to when designs came into production. If it's post-3049, it doesn't exist yet. If it's not really close to 3049, you'll likely not gonna see it soon in a game that has a 1 day game time = 1 day real time scale like MWO. How would one check? There just happens to be a list for ALL THE BATTLEMECHS MADE TO DATE.

Type your favorite 'Mechs name into the search bar there, and handily enough it'll show the production date of every variant made in the BT universe. Uziels didn't come into production until...3063. Offhand, if it doesn't get made before 3054, the odds of seeing it in MWO approach zero even later on. That site's straight from the people who make Battletech, as official as it gets.

On my hit list? Oh, I'd take a Whitworth, or a Trebuchet- the newest version has jump jets and a NARC beacon to guide in some fun from fellow missile carriers.

They mostly take no mechs from those two games (i.e. most are out of era)...

You'll have to look at a mech line up for Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries, which is situated in the same era this game's gonna be (except the Clan mechs, obviously).


As for my wishlist, there's only one last thing on it: Vindicator.

Good luck on maintaining one, however. Unless the only way to maintain them is salvage, the game flips to Clantechsville by default, as there's nothing other than cost and availability keeping them from overwhelming the game- just like MW4. And since everything's available by C-bills right now, cost isn't gonna do it and the dreaded "pay-to-win" rears it's head.

For balance purposes, long-term easy access to Clan machines is pure game poison.
