I'm tired of having to rummage through countless posts for what everything does in game.

For example, why can't the devs just hire one guy to make a spread sheet with what everything DOES officially. I mean tool tips in game are horrible. No damage information, no heat information and range. It's the worst tool tips I've read in all games so far. Especially in a game where knowing how exactly everything works determines the effectiveness of EVERYTHING.

Ok for example, I asked people in game today if TAG helps you target enemies even if they are under the protection of ECM. People said no.

But reading some of the forums people said "it helps your teammates with LRMs get lock on".

Okay, but officially the tooltip in game says "Accelerates missile lock, keeps lock longer and increases missile accuracy. Must be held on target". Does not officially tell you if it works against ECM units. Does not tell you, its just for yourself or your teammates. It does not tell you the official range of TAG. It also doesn't tell you if you just click ur mouse once to turn it on or if you need to hold it down. And I can't tell in game if the laser is turned on because i don't see a red line while in my Atlas and the red dot disappears after like 90 m.

Okay I can go to Ohmwrecker's post (which is unofficial) to read some of the information. http://mwomercs.com/...s-excel-inside/ But honestly, it doesn't answer all the question either.

I have NOT read or seen anything from IGP stating "yes Ohmwrecker's information is correctly reflecting every weapon stats in game". So I would also like to know that. AND, I still would like some kind of wiki page that is MADE BY IGP stating what the current stats of all weapons/equipment in game. Because, it's getting frustrating having to spend time after time on confusing unofficial posts from players to know what is going on in game.

Also, you guys might want to put in PPC tooltip that it will disrupt ECM if you hit a target with ECM. Because you guys have some horrible tool tips in game.

PS-

If I sound pissed, I am. I had a night full of noob teammates with trial mechs and opponents of Pre-mades with heromechs and ECM Atlases over and over again. Having waste time having to reading unofficial posts from users about how TAG works just made me even more pissed because I don't want to waste CBills on sh*t i don't know about.

^^this seems to be very accurate.

i do wish they would give more in game information. i think we will be getting a more detailed mech lab in UI 2.0.

that's not a good excuse especially when they started charging people for micro transactions in game.
i can honestly say i wasted MC on buying the wrong mech because there weren't detailed information about mechs in mechlab.

ANYTHING would be better than just the tool tip they offer in game.
And on top of that, NO ONE KNOWS how accurate the information are in Ohmwrecker's excel sheet. And I still dont know how TAG works lol. People tell me "no ECM blocks it" and some people say "yes it works THROUGH ECM".

There're so many things that is lacking. They should add "everything" to justify the real money spent, if you say it this way. But there are lots of more important things to add/fix in the game atm. Game is lacking usability, features, content.. so the lack of official wiki isn't the only problem there is. I'm thinking that they could make things right for the beta by lowering the costs as long as this is "a lacking beta".

A great information gathering site is
http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/
Scroll down.->Tag is under "Support and Utility Weapons"
->ECM is under "Modules and Equipment"

regarding your ECM question
Yes Tag works.
Put it on weapon group 6 , bind weapon group 6 to Shift and hold shift down while you target a mech under an ECM umbrella.

UI 2.0 is coming. It´s called BETA for a reason.Feel free to ask.Don´t be shy.

Free bonus->The numbers behind the missile hardpoints on smurfy are the Tube sizes.
                      Example: 1 M (10)
An LRM 15 will come in 2 volleys of 10 and 5 Missiles because of the limited tube size.
                      Weired enough if you have 2 M (10) - 2*LRM 10 come in 1 volley.
->You can open/close the Missile bay doors in the arms.Closed Missile bay doors result in a 0.5 s delay  but  give +10% damage resistance

oh i've been asking around. asking players is not 100% like having an official IGP rep answering questions.
UI 2.0 eh?

I know the game is in Beta, but never seen people allow microtransactions while game was still in BETA b
