Greetings.
I'm an American living in Hong Kong, and trying to recruit, Chinese players into the game. from Hong Kong Taiwan, China, maylasia... I have a super High end PC cause I'm a designer, doing'
animation, 3D/2D CAD, PS, AI, 3DMax, Solid works, UGS, Maya... 3x GTX660 32g ram 8 core 4.0.
Since the Pretty Baby patch my Ping has gone from 200 to 900-1000+ I have the best connection in HK 40-60mps. and 20mps upload. i have NO problem with other games fps and Ping, Only MWO has issues now. And now its unplayable. Some of my friends seem to have the same issue. but some of them are in China and China plays with internet speeds all the time. BUT they cant touch HK's so I should be fine.
any ideas?

Thanks

Have you reported this to the developers yet? Also, have you spoken to your Internet service provider, whoever that may be?

Sometimes my ingame ping is quite bad (300) while my local ping is fine (steady 22 to ams-ix), not sure what causes it.
I live in europe, my ping is 120 normally.

This seems to be an issue cropping up in different places.
My ping used to be 100-110 but it was stable and there was not much Jitter, for the last 4 weeks or so Jitter has increased and so has my ping up to 150Ms and during some periods it rockets over 200/250 for split seconds then back down.
There are no local faults, other games work perfectly fine. However doing trace routes to the game servers or website produces the following results (not peak time so they are pretty good)
01 86.20.0.1 20 ms 10 ms, 20 ms
02 213.105.114.97 20 ms 20 ms, 60 ms
03 62.253.174.77 60 ms 20 ms, 30 ms
04 62.253.185.105 10 ms 20 ms, 40 ms
05 213.105.159.30 20 ms 20 ms, 10 ms
06 62.253.185.81 40 ms 40 ms, 30 ms
07 130.117.14.133 40 ms 30 ms, 30 ms
08 154.54.39.185 50 ms 30 ms, 30 ms
09 154.54.37.114 30 ms 40 ms, 30 ms
10 154.54.87.58 130 ms 100 ms, 120 ms
11 154.54.44.98 120 ms 110 ms, 110 ms
12 38.104.159.26 110 ms 120 ms, 120 ms
13 70.42.24.196 130 ms 110 ms, 110 ms

You can see here that the pings are low up untill Hop 10 where there is a significant increase that is then consistent in all further hops.
Doing some Ip address lookups show that hop 9 belongs to Cogent Communications out near Kansas and that hop is ok still low pinng
Hops 10 and 11 which are the start of the increased latency also belong to Cogent and appear to be in the same area
12 Appears to be located in Canada and 13 swings way back down to Atlanta.

Well Now its back down to 200ish... I have NO idea. If i was back in China I could understand. cause They lower the internet speed on a whim. But in Hong Kong. they don't let China push the buttons! =] (GO BLACK HAND!!!)

I just played three matches with a ping of 4000+ consistently. I live in Arizona. What is going on?

Have you tried forwarding the ports?

I have not, the issue cropped up maybe four hours ago. Where can I find the ports MWO uses?
EDIT: Seems to have fixed itself, how very odd.
