wait... its op because in the hands of a good pilot can keep up with the other mech. You know like the other mech can completely kill a light in ONE HIT WITH FULL ARMOR! JFC get real every mech needs to have advantages and disadvantages. Learn them and maybe next time you log into the game look at the 3L and see just how low the back armor truly is.

In comparison with other Light 'Mechs, the 3L has NO disadvantages. You don't even have to aim to get kills with the damn thing. It's just acquire lock, circle strafe, right click and win. There need to be changes made to Streaks to fix the issues with both Raven 3Ls and COM-2Ds.

You pilot medium/heavy/assault mech, and use PPC to counter ECM on ravens 3L... For what reason? To have your SSRMs lock on? Ain't light mechs being killed with many other heavy weapons of heavy mechs, without even disrupting its electronic cover? Like AC20 or Gauss maybe? Even that PPC without countering ECM has great damage, especially for lights.
If you actually pilot somewhat like jenner with PPC, well, you are actually great mechwarrior to have ability to hit light, while moving at 150 kmph speeds. But, do you have place for streaks left? Doubt so.
So, PPC have advantage against all light mechs, with or without ECM. There is no need to specially point at 3L.

In the old matchmaking, if you were the only light in your team, you could win the game, even if the ennemi light was 3L...
This matchmaking downs the non-3L light survivability and viability...

And streaks + ECM is equally bad on any mech.

He is afraid of splat cats in his light? I've been toying with splat cats and the only light that dies is one that makes a crossing pass ("joust"). That is just poor decision making...
When I run my cicada those medium lasers can dissect the splat from a very safe distance. If there were taunts I would use them...

The combination of ECM+streaks+best in class armor+150 KPH top end still give it a guaranteed 1v1 victory against another scout mech of any type. Some will claim this makes the 3L OP and they are not entirely wrong, but yes they can be one shotted by a sniper mech who shoots well.

Read his previous thread. He's complaining about a 6PPC stalker blowing out his side torso in one shot. Still not a big problem, and still doesn't mean the 3L is a bit too strong against other light mechs.
