Wasn't it Pat Benatar who said "Love is a battlefield"? . . . she got that right :)

You know what... I've actually been considering joining up. I used to avoid clans in other multiplayer games, because they seemed too serious and strictly scheduled, but you guys seem to have a more laid-back attitude about the game that's much more appealing. I think I'll drop by your forums soon and post an application.

Applications make Hylius cry, so I'll approve it.

Well, that's just my luck. I decide to get some sleep before signing up, and when I wake up, I find that the site's gone down.

Do you have an estimate on when it will be available again?

It was HappySpawn's fault. It's always happy's fault.

Site's back up, try now.

FreeForums.org has been doing "stuff" and things have been breaking. As the old saying goes: You get what you pay for.

Sorry about that. Our host has been having some difficulties lately, but they should be resolved. Heck my router was pretending to be a brick yesterday, so I didn't know it had problems until I log on today and it's fine.

And yes, feel free to throw down an application. We aren't too serious. I mean, yeah we plan to be competitive if the system allows it, but we're more of a "casually competitive" group. The members who want to/can will fight for the planets and all, they'll likely have a practice session or two here and there, but honestly? We're here for fun. It's a game. If you make rigid schedules for practicing/competing, it becomes work. I have enough work at my job, thank you very much. I just hope the MWO system allows for such a casual approach to competition.

As for our organization, it too is laid back. Ranks are there just for necessities purposes, and will apply in certain situations in game, but in the end everyone is equal. It's more of a group of friends than a rigid ranking structure. We have organization for what requires it, but in the end we're just a group of guys (+1 gal) having fun, and everyone's opinion matters. So feel free to stop by and drop an app, or just hang out in our forums if you want to be sure first.

No, it is not. However, if the merc corps are limited in size, we may expand and create the Hell's Ponies.

Why would you do that instead of utilizing the existing fluff and forming the 3 regiments of the Eridani? If you are going to defile something as noble as the Eridani do it right at least, adopt the profile instead of going off source.

Firstly, we're not defiling it. At least in our opinion.

Second, that was a joke from long back. We already have plans in place should member size requirements force us to split, such as Luna's Moonrakers (names obviously not final.) Have no fear, we're prepared.

De-file,

Noun: A narrow steep sided gorge or passage. . .

I don't get it :(

But Seriously ..

I've been in communication with the ELPMC for a while now, and trust me, they're not defiling, insulting, mocking (or any other derogatory verbs you can think of) the history or the men of The Eridani Light Horse

you can call it whatever you desire, I call it Homage.

I have a feeling I'll be among those split off. /BananaBattalion

Also, I'll mock the ELH all I want. They're almost as bad as GDL or Wolf's Dragoons.

Noooo! Not the Banana Battalion!

We're all doooooooooooomed. DOOOOOOOOOMED.

Well, actually, everyone else is doomed. I know how to handle spork so I'll be fine.
