Which MechLab program is that? Don't think I've seen it before.

The one that is the best one to use... its been around for a while. Also includes possible 'prediction' variants, of existing mechs that may or not be coming, like the COM-1C, COM-5S, AS7-S. You can also look at future announced Mechs and their possible variants and hardpoints.

There ya go.

I too enjoy ugly mechs. Since I'm such a fan of direct fire, the Jager and the Blackjack are the two mechs I'm really looking forward to. Love me that dakka dakka pew pew.

I have doubts it will have as great torso twist as some suggest it should have. But I can sure hope for it. It will need something like that to make it more attractive than the K2 and Cataphract.

There's quite some resemblance between the Jagermech and the Rifleman. I wonder if the clans used to call this 'Mech.

I had this confused with the Rifleman II-C and was super psyched about being able to run 3xUAC5 or 2xGauss or 2xAC20 in the arms with Jump Jets. But sadly that is not to be. But IMO the ability to aim your dakka up and down combined with good gun placement (Jagermech will likely be able to fire over and around stuff pretty well) give this guy a definite niche. I'm holding off on buying a K2 until I see the verdict on this one.

Here are some concepts I threw together for the jager, via Skunkworks, a Mechlab app for WP8. Yes, I used a Catapult as a base chassis as it matches the tonnage of the Jagermech:

Why don't u all use the mwo mechbay program from widowmaker clan?
it's less fancy than a web interface but it got the non implemented mechs yet, such as jagermech.
basically you can slot 2xac20 and run at 80kph easily, or 72kph if you want medium lasers as backup.

Glass build, you can't be serious willing to bring something like this anywhere and with 7 tons of ammo good luck, sometimes I unload 10 tons in my triple UAC Ilya :P

This, Mwo Mechbay has many non implemented variants and allows to foresee the configurations far before it's allowed.

A 65ton mech with less armor than my 35ton Jenner.
Yes, that would be amusing to watch, so long as it's not on my team.

Especially with the 3 tons of ammo spread between the 2 side torsos...

Don't forget to put a link in your post when praising something. Not everyone takes the 15 seconds to google.

Back in the old days, we had to climb the hill up to get a shot at those Clan mechs, both ways, and it took us 5 minutes to fire 30 shots of AC/2!

Mustrum "Also, it's actually 31 shots of AC/2 in 15 seconds because you can start firing at 0 seconds..." Ridcully

PS: Also, it'S 15 seconds for anyone interested in the program to google, if that's 10 people, it's 150 seconds wasted! If the author of the post googles the link, it's 15 seconds, plus 2 seconds for clicking the link for everyone, which is 35 seconds vs 150 seconds if it's just 10 people.
