Things I like:
-That Mechbuilding uses the Tabletop Construction rules essentially unchanged. That you guys have made that more or less balanced and functional is awesome.
-That Lights and Mediums are actually valid choices on a lance against Heavies and Assaults.
-That Ballistic weapons in general and Autocannons in particular are actually really good choices and really effective weapons.
-Monetization. The system of 'you CAN buy mechs, or you can save up quite a while for them' is solid, especially combined with the fact that you MUST use C-bills to customize your machines. I don't feel forced to shell out money but I have anyway.
Things I'd like to see:
-Ferro-Fibrous armor deserves some love. While I don't think it should have its armor coefficient changed (I really like that the numbers work out exactly to the construction rules), giving it something else interesting and unique that it did would go a long way toward making it a valid choice when compared to Endo-Steel, since I don't think it's a particularly valid play choice right now, except on light mechs who need the weight.
-Pulse Lasers seem to run very hot, far hotter than a mech holding them's heat efficiency dictates. They currently don't really feel that amazing compared to regular lasers of their various types.
-LRM swarms tend to all hit one body part (usually the Center Torso). Both based on TT rules and for balance reasons they should probably pepper the entire mech, I personally find it really frustrating to get cored from long range by a player who isn't even really aiming.
-I'd really like to see more gameplay modes (king of the hill? Capture the flag?), especially modes which really emphasized mobility and coordination rather than just the big brawl happening and mopping up survivors.
-More variety in maps, and a greater percentage of them without visibility impairment. Your game is really pretty, it's a shame I have to play it with the thermal optics on all the time.
-ECM right now isn't very fun, especially for new players. Some changes to make it less of an always-on anti-UI defensive effect and more of an aggressive scouting disruption tool would go a long way toward remedying that. I think if you did this you could remove a lot of the anti-ECM effects you've had to add.
Overall, well, I'm still playing and looking forward to the changes and updates (and fearing for my wallet when you offer me Clan mechs), just a few thoughts to improve a good game.
