This is a feature that makes sense as well as something we had in MW4. Before a drop, let us know what map it is and pick a camo. If this is not feasible, give us a setting in mech lab where we can pick a camo per mech for each map type (desert, forest, snow, urban). Then our mechs get skinned with appropriate camo for the match.
I think why this is desireable is pretty self evident.

It's a simple suggestion, but an amazing one.
Kinda surprising that I haven't seen it mentioned before. One of the reasons why I haven't purchased any Camo yet is that the idea of dropping in a snowy map while painted to blend into trees made my head hurt.

What is the effectiveness of different camo schemes vs thermal vision?
While it is a good idea it has the lowest priority on the PGI MWO to do list.

how do you know it's the lowest priority on PGI's list? Did they publish their list? Do you work for them?

if pgi is trying to move forward they wouldn't waste time on this. any jerk that knows about thermal vision can see that adaptive camo in mwo purely is a sidestep.
