Gonna Call It: Cw Will Launch With The Clans

Community Warfare will launch simultaneously with the first wave of Clan Tech/Mechs, and the invasion of the Inner Sphere by said Clans will factor into Community Warfare from the start.
It makes perfect sense right? Excepting complete and total incompetence on PGI's part, merging the arrival of the Clans with the long-awaited launch of Community Warfare seems like the perfect marriage.

PGI really hurt themselves committing to a 1:1 timeline and then delaying CW by at least 6 months from their original projection.

We won't see the first Clan mechs until the earliest late LATE this year, or early next.

Unless you like loosing pretty much every match with the odd draw due to YLW.
After all up to when Showers sang his last tune it was the mother of all PUG-stomps. So i am sure the clan invasion will go off as planned, we will see a lot of fluff posts and some really nice clan mech concepts. Timeline will putter along up till the Tyraborg incident and then We would perhaps start seeing some clan tech while the tubers are off picking a new ilKhan. Then once they return things will really kick off.
That is my prediction at least. feel free to disagree.

actually they did not steal anything. They (FASA) bought the rights to use the designs of a few different mechas because it was faster then to draw everything them self.
As for the rest of the question.. NO idea i guess it was a trend that stuck around... Just like why we (in the west) really enjoy people in spandex with capes shooting laser from their eyes.

2) We've heard nothing about the timeframe on Community Warfare implementation other than "don't ask" and "later this year" (to me that means December... if they haven't scrapped the idea by then).
Introducing the Clans with or prior to Community Warfare is implemented will pretty much trivialize any House vs. House action, as the entire Inner Sphere unites to face this "greater common enemy" , at which point any "community" style gameplay will probably be focused entirely on IS vs. Clans... again, if implemented at all.
This is probably reason #8,637,159 why a 3015 timeline would have been better for the entire game. Middle of the 3rd Succession War, all 5 houses are embroiled in battle with each other, tech base across all factions are pretty much identical, and little to zero lore to have to tiptoe your way around over the course of the game. You'd have about 13 years of real-time to do anything you want as long as you keep all 5 Houses from completely falling.

Honestly, I would have preferred this myself. But of course we all know why they switched to 3049.... people want their Madcats..

Of course that's true about Clan mechs too (game balance is gonna be NUTS for a while), but CW is much more difficult to implement than making a few mechs and adding a few weapon clones with different stats.
That said, it would be awful for MWO to see the Clans before CW. Who gives a crap about the Clans if the Inner Sphere doesn't exist? Without the universe, Clan mechs are just a few different parts (smaller XL engines, better DHS, new weapons, etc) on a mech. Does anyone really want to see the game as it is now, with a Mad Cat thrown into matches here and there? That would be an idiotic game to play, IMHO.
Remember the days of the Streakcat dominating everything? Imagine those days returning, but with a MASSIVELY more powerful version running around, this time called the Mad Cat. It's got two SSRM6's to emulate the Streakcat. It's got two LRM20's to out-boat all our current boats. It's got a few C-ERML's that outmatch our LL's. It's faster than a Hunchback. It has fully-articulated arms. Some of them even jump.
Toss that hypothetical mech into the game as is, and watch all other mech designs disappear. That's the Clan invasion without CW. I know many people have said certain things have dominated the games at time (ECM, LRM's, Streakcats, etc), but nothing would even come close to a Clan mech thrown into the current MWO vacuum.

Anyways we may get a teaser of the Summoner and Timber Wolf (Thor, MadCat) mid March when they are first spotted in the inner sphere but I feel that will be all. I figure around the 3rd phase of CW we may get to play them and who knows when that will be.

THEN...when all the pieces are in place, introduce the Clans.
At the rate content is being introduced, I feel like they are pushing themselves a bit too much, unless there is a lot of completed content of which we are unaware, waiting for the right moment to see the light of day...
