I watched the video of the actual incident, you couldn't make out much but just reading it really has me like ***? This was yesterday in the middle of day at the side of the freeway. If you read the details of the incident especially when the police officer shot him and he didn't go down and ended up having to shoot him 4-6 times. The part that really got me is "He stood with flesh in is mouth and growled" then proceeded approach the officer.

I know that isn't funny, but the whole zombieapocalypse thing made me laugh nontheless xD
It even sounds like how the movies start... with some homeless person chewing someone's face off

I wouldn't be so supprised that someone can take 4-6 bullets before he collapses... The human body can take quite a bit damage without dying instantly, now if you told me the officer had emptied his mag into the guy and could only stop him by putting the last bullet through his head, well....
do you have any written articles about this? the youtubevideo seems a bit sensationalist...

Handgun calibers have a small chance to one shot stop anyone, say less then 30%. Handguns in general are not man stoppers.

But if he was homeless, why was he naked? The article says that both people were naked. That does not seem normal to me, naked homeless people on the side of a causeway...

zombies? I think it was just an old man wanting to eat someone cause he was hungry I don't thing it had to do with the fact he was a zombie. Plus cannibalism is a real thing just doesn't make you a zombie!

Weather this hails the coming of the inevitable zombie apocalypse or not, one should always have a survival plan ready. Keep weapons inventoried in strategic locations, and food stores ready. XD

But serriously, what nerd hasn't at one point or another hoped for a zombie apocalypse? If nothing else it would give you an excuse to shoot all those idiots you meet on a regular basis.

I heard it was about 90. They supposedly took them out of a guy during WWII and he later died from heavy metal poisoning......but biggest confirmed number i could find is 19 (from one shooting)

Unless you're packing a huge calibre or something military grade, most handgun calibres are the same as submachine guns. I also tend to disagree - I own forty-fives, several of them, and considering one of them has gone into combat with me overseas, I'll just leave it at that.

One of the later articles says that 80% of the homeless guy's face has been eaten...That's just not right.

Let's see how it goes in the few days to come, if the homeless guy dies from his wounds and then wake up and start eating people, I'll start to worry a bit. But it' just in the USA for now, so that's ok

That reminded me that I need to get some money to buy ArmA II so I can get DayZ. Nothing like a good day of zombie survival simulation.
