Put a LB-10X on a Cicada or Raven and go scouting. See the group setting up a tight killbox - shoot the LB-10X at about 400 meters toward the group. With the pellet spread, you will hit several mechs and will receive assists should they later die.

The rest has already been mentioned.

I recommend using the AC 10 over the LBX still even after the buff. The AC 10 simply is much more efficient in range and damage delivery. With the buff though I feel the lbx is about one more buff away from being viable. The problem is it still just doesn't deliver the dmg clustered enough to warrant its use over a AC 10.

Don't you think it depends on build? I mean, I can't build a 3M-build that utilizes an AC-10 very well at all, but the Shotgun Brawler works very well. UAC is also a good option for a 3M, of course, but it has less of an alpha punch and is harder to aim at >100 kph.

True, I also thing the uac 5 is great as well if you are going fast and need something easier to land shots with. I'm just saying that the LBX is trading off many advantages the other ballistic weapons gain for just a crit chance (10 dmg to CT rather than 10 dmg spread out across 3 sections of the mech with a crit chance on stripped armor).
