If you're bad at this game, stop playing.
It's pretty terrible I have >3.5 KDR but more losses than wins.
Naturally, I blame you.

ya know.. there IS only one constant between every bad team you have been on........
Maybe if you worried less about stats, and more about teamwork?

My KDR was >10:1 when I stopped playing seriously.
Also, get your facts straight. I am taking my advice. I said I'd stopped playing until the game improved, and I did, and it has, at least enough for me to play it occasionally.

imjustsayin bro there isn't really any better way I could "help" my team than kill buckets of enemy Mechs because all of these games pretty much come down to deathmatch [redacted]

Sounds like someone just wanted a reason to post his/her KD.
In case you didn't realize, this isn't Call of Duty.
You're KD means nothing.

hiding in corners to not get killed to protect your K/D stat and only coming out to engage enemy mechs silly enough to be on their own or when the other team is already nearly down so that you can kills steal, does not make you a good player

All snideness aside, MM phase 3 should help. But seriously, there is more to a win than just how many enemy mechs you can take down on your own.
