The model will look different form the concept,
if i had to guess why there are no screen shots.

its because they drastically altered the model of the trebuchet from the concept art. Like the case with the centurion its shoulders had to be broadened from the concept art so that there would be no clipping. they probably did the same with trebuchet and it doesn't look like concept art anymore.

considering the backlash after release of stalker models. and the nature of PGI to hide things. I wouldn't doubt that they decided not to show it because people wouldn't like it.

Will the Treb make it tomorrow or not? No idea. I certainly would like to see it, but if it's delayed by a patch... I'll survive.

I'm much more concerned about getting the new map in, but I'd put money that it'll be there. The February Patch Schedule hasn't been altered, and they've talked the map up as recently as today.

New map = new content for everyone, all the time. New mechs are great, for sure... but new maps are pretty much the most awesome things we can get. They make *everything* better by broadening the game dramatically given how few we have right now.

The reason we've seen naught on the 'Bucket or the Alpine map is because the Trenchie's photo-shoot in yon Alpine peaks was interrupted by an Avalanche...

The reason the devs are so quiet is because they're all still shovelling the snow to clear the spawn point for Blue team and dig up The Trenchbucket...

it could just be the Canadian news reporting a cold front hitting BC, or it could be a hint of the Map (and hopefuly, by expounding, the 'Bucket)...

I've been following forums for X Rebirth, a space flight game that was announced in 2009, for a long time, and they haven't had ANY new screenshots from the devs in over SIX MONTHS... Some people here are going on so much about a piddly couple of days that they could fit right in on that other forum...

Glad to see I was incorrect, now we wait for the Treb screen shots.

I still don't really get why they're doing it last minute, but at least the patch looks great, and machine gun buffs FINALLY.

Also, Trebs are fantastic and so is the new map. Matchmaking right this second however.....ehhhh
