Yup, same here.

Something (or someone) borked the patcher.

..ya.. you can imagine the load time to "uninstall and re-download" will be on patch day..

and you can be sure this list will expand

HAve you tried restarting the client? I know on some patches I had to restart the whole game after it patched in order for it to work. Not saying any of you didnt try, sometimes simple things get over looked.

Don't have to, I've had to completely reinstall due to patches a number of times. Something wrong with how they're patch process works. My problem is the patches usually borking up some needed game asset causing crashes.

Nah i don't think that'd help.

The error popped up during the patch itself asking why we were trying to close the patcher and just hung there
i think it was a failure in downloading/installing the patch.

Closing the patcher with an unfinished patch is a sure way to bork it.

I didn't get the pop up box ... however, my patcher did stop at "Please Wait" for several minutes after finishing the first of two patches ... it then continued to complete the patch process after a while.

Not sure if it's a fix for you but I had this once personally on my home PC. Check available HD space.

Had that happen for about 3 minutes, then it just continued.

Should be all set.

(It ate up all my CPU and RAM for that three minutes though.. weird)

EDIT: Done as of 1407 CST
