As the title states, ELO is day one.
After a few days it should get better, and I should be able to find a match right..??
.
Anyone else having the "Failed to find match issue?". <----- Sarcasm

And they could care less. They put this in knowing this would happen. It's just ECM all over again.

Maybe if they actually played the game, stuff like this would be obvious to them. But, we all know they are too busy adding bling to the match search icon, messages to tell idiotic players that the mech pointing the gun at them is targeting them, and sprucing up the interface for people who can't understand simple tabs.

It's really bad for solo players, I was only getting in 1 in 10 attempts - I suggest playing with a group for now, almost always goes through

You're a Beta tester. Suck it up and ride the "searching" queue while they tweak it.

These "must have instant gratification" threads are becoming comical.

Okay, let me put it this way, you blithering fool.

PGI has what, maybe 30 people in their office? do you think they can really test a matchmaker to its fullest potential with just 30 people on 30 different machines? Or even with the closed testers that they have to test this stuff out, that may be 200-300 or so players. Is THAT enough to account for the full range of ELOs among an even greater number of players?

The only way to actually fully test an ELO system like this out, is to release it. And cross your fingers and pray that as much of it works as possible. Well, as you can see, it has problems. And it will be getting a fix soon. to address the issues that have arisen.

Do you really think they don't care about their only source of money to continue to develop this game? That has to be one of the more idiotic things I've seen on these forums and that's a hard category to make.

Welcome to beta.

Then let me educate you, moron.

Their -only- job is to produce a workable product and to spot problems that could result in an unusable product. That is why they have a long period of in-house testing. It is also part of any valid testing process to check the extremes of variables before approving the use of said process.

Thus, they either a) did not follow their own proceedures, or b ) did so and still released the code which is preventing people from playing their game -at all-. Either way is incompetence, and glaringly so.

So yes, I think this problem was completely and clearly spottable, and more it was their job to do so.

So if anything, your statements are the idiotic ones that lack any sense of actual logic.

It's f***ing people like you who complain about matchmaking sucks in that the teams are not matched up correctly now they put in a matchmaker and you complain about it taking forever to find the right people.

What do you people want? You know what Fyou and all other people like you. They can't do anything correctly in your eyes. This is the same sh** as in WoT. People crying all the time.

Ok sure, man. So let me know when you code a superior matchmaker to PGI's and send it in. I mean, it can't be too hard, right? Having success with a matchmaker with a small group of testers should translate to absolute success when it gets applied across thousands, right?

By the way, your tears are delicious. But I'm full now, so I think I'll just leave.

Try reading again before you open your mouth. Under the current system, you cannot play -AT ALL-. Zip. No game. Nadda. Just endless waiting for a match that isn't there. For 30 minutes. Straight.

That isn't just bad. That is complete failure. And you say I'm wrong because I point it out?

Go back and finish school.

Superior matchmaker? Sure!

Each team has 400 tons. Find players until you fill this tonnage. Launch.

You know why this is superior? Because it would allow people to play the game.

So, please. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Maybe you'll have fun in Hawken.

Yeah it seems forum search isn't working either, because NO ONE is using it to. 9th thread on topic and counting.
