I'm eyeing these two Trebuchet variants and I'm scratching my head. On the surface, they look identical. They both have the same number/type of hardpoints (4E/2M). The difference is the 3C has one energy in the CT while on the 5N that energy moves to the arm. That's the only difference I can spot. Now, I'm sure there are some differences when it comes to the "quirks" of each variant, but it still has be wondering: Did both of these variants actually need to exist?

-5N is the iconic "Stock" Trebuchet, and has more twist than the -3C. Much cheaper also, without all those SL upgrades.

3C can mount a bigger engine, up to 390, while the others can only get up to 325.
