I think this demonstrates that there's room for improvement with the matchups.
For example, you could keep delaying the match with a condition of both team sizes being 8, and not disconnected.

Yes, I used to find it weird that the matchmaker would match me up against people with the same faction icon, complementing builds, excuses, and names I recognize.
But I was told repeatedly that it's all legit, and synchdrops don't exist.
