Yeah, I am aware that there are plenty of topics related to ECM, but the combination of ECM and Streaks is seriously affecting the game to a point, where it couldn't be played anymore. Right now, I just had another match, in which the enemy team had a total of at least 3 ECMs, while our team had just 1, so I don't have to tell you about the outcome of the match. Basically, we all better just left, because there is no sense in getting slaughtered by superior bug abusing. Yeah, the combination of ECM and SSRMs is just bug abuse, because it exploits a serious error in the game designers and programmers point of view. Basically, the combination of ECM and Streaks enable the pilot to hit the enemy with little afford, but also prevents the enemy from shooting back effectively. Unfortunately, that's quite close to immortality.

So, please just adopt the TT rules, so that ECM carrying light 'Mechs can still be targeted by SSRMs. This would at least prevent the usual 3L Ravens from shooting any other lights with very little risk of getting hit themselves, let alone to get concentrated hits on one location. ECM would still be worth the tonnage, since the tactical affects of ECM, namely the disruption of communications, are quite good, especially against PUGs.

In addition, I'd also suggest, that SSRMs should require a new lock on target after a salvo is being fired. In this case, a slight reduction of the time needed to get a lock-on might be considered, too.
