1st Increase the machine gun damage over the same period of time equal to 70% of that of the small laser also decrease ammo to 400 rounds/ton

2nd Increase Damage of Small pulse laser to 133% of the small laser

3rd Either A) split up ECM abilities into two systems guardian and angel ECM or B)Increase the weight of the system to 2.5 tons or C)Have counter mode counter all ECM in the area.

4th Increase active time of narcs to 45 seconds.

5th Increase the size of the Stalker by about 10-15% preferably making it taller and slightly wider.

6th Increase speed cap of mediums to 120

It's been less than a day since the patch, and I can already tell you thatt MG's don't need to be buffed any more than they already have been. I've been critting GR's & ammo all night long.

SML PLS is fine as is- it's not supposed to be a main weapon. I have several mechs that use 2-3 of them as an emergency backup, and they work at their appropriate range.

ECM as a counter-all was in the game previously, It renders ECM completely useless if either team has two or more. Splitting the module in half MIGHT work, but then might have other unintended side effects. ECM as it is now is perfectly counterable even in large quantities.

So 45 seconds of lock on...if my team has 2 NARC scouts and 6 LRM boats, that's a guaranteed kill EVERY SINGLE TIME...I don't even...

Make the Stalker BIGGER? The mech that I can literally take both torsos off in about 10 seconds with a light mech, you want to make easier to hit? Failure to see where you're going with this...

The only one I can sort of agree with, and even then no. 105-110kph max.

1. MG's are still useless especially for ballistic heavy lights, If you have 1.5 tons free its better to upgrade a small laser to a medium and add a heat sink then it is to utilize the final ballistic slot. This should be a difficult choice(do I want extended range with the medium, or do more damage but at very close range) as of now its not a choice.

2. You may use SML PLS but you are taking twice the heat, and twice the weight for something that does 10% additional damage. They are only viable if you have a completely heat neutral mech with max armor and you cant take that .5 ton and upgrade a small laser to a medium.

3.I agree with the first statement in the sense that its a rock beats rock type of system. A better system would be a rock-paper-scissors type of mechanic. As far as ECM in large quantity being counter able that is laughable. I've fought many 8 man teams with and without ECM and our deduction from playing 67 matches is that the team that has more ECM's wins 71% of the time. That may be skewed however because we employ 4 ECM's and generally have more so there is a possibility that we are generally more skilled than other 8 man groups.

4. Its not a guaranteed kill as ECM makes Narc worthless and in addition to that narc'd targets take cover once the LRM rain begin. Even while narced we require our scouts to report if the target is even getting hit or if hes taking cover.

5. Not sure what you run on you light mech, but although circle strafing is the best tactic to use against a Stalker while doing so it takes a lot of revolutions to put a dent into any of its locations. the arms and torso are heavily compressed meaning that it is far more difficult to repeatedly hit say the right torso without hitting the arm or center torso resulting in a spread of damage across regions when compared to other assault mechs. Also consider that the stalker is one of the most heavily armed assaults with an even distribution of weapon systems allowing it to continue fighting with a substantial armament even with the right torso destroyed while the atlas or awesome have their firepower effectively cut in half.
