Hey, PGI, your friendly neighborhood MC-paying player here, are you listening? I hope you are because I am.

I heard what Paul and your cronies at NGNG said at your last get together about giving ECM a chance, all that fratboy style patting each other on the back stuff...and guess what?

...IT. DIDN'T. WORK. The ECM soft counters were a disappointment. And that buff you gave to the NARC beacon? Asinine. Trite. Insert a plethora of Expletives Here!

Seriously, what's the point of NARC-ing somebody if ECM disrupt cancels it and the beacon is going to fall off anyways after 35 dmg!? Are you guys... Do you guys...! Ugh.

Maybe us players are just incapable of thinking logically, am I right? 2 + 2 does not equal 4, am I right?

Like I would totally equip a piece of equipment that becomes useless the moment it enters an ECM bubble, am I right?

I must not have a brain, am I right?

...Oh, and your Matchmaking Phase 3 was a FLOP.

Now, I know the community is about as fickle as a woman, but there is one thing I think we can all agree on based on the rush of feedback from this latest patch:

GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER and STOP DELUDING YOURSELVES.

Please, just pull your heads out of the sand and face the music! It's the same old problem. The same old tears of frustration.

We want ECM B-A-L-A-N-C-E-D (or just remove it altogether if your engies and programmers with their college degrees and vaunted Masters can't figure it out). We want proper Matchmaking like they have in just about any legit AAA game that's been fully funded like Natural Selection 2, Call of Duty, etc. More content!

We're all speaking the same language here, right? English? E-n-g-l-i-s-h? I do love me some English!

I don't like ECM (horribly unbalanced, just terrible game design there), I LOVED MWO during MM3, to the point I realized how much I disliked the game when it was revoked.

That said, this conversation... yeah, it aint gonna accomplish anything.

ECM should counter NARC. The 35 dmg on the NARC is a little low but I guess everything PGI does is concrete and cannot be changed ever right? All I hear is a bunch of whining. Man up.

At its worst ECM is just annoying. I mount TAG in my LRM support mechs and go about my business. *shrug*

Though I agree that a better use of NARC would be for it to completely negate ECM. But I'm not going to cry about it.

From what I can tell, people like the treb, people like Alpine, people liked the matches when Elo was implemented (just not the wait time)

The Machine gun crit damage change is the one that's caused the biggest backlash.

I like ECM the way it is, and I love the trebuchet which doesn't carry ECM.

So please explain who this "we" is?

I agree on the NARC. Still a complete waste of tonnage. Only a moron would bring one to the battlefield instead of sticking 1 TAG on his mech.

The only advantage the NARC gives is a 20 second "fire and forget" but since ECM disables the NARC and pretty much every match has 1-2 ECM mechs on each team by now, it's just braindead to take a NARC.

Regarding the We - just about every poll on the matter has resulted in a majority against. Obviously some polls are less equal than others but it's hard to ignore them all - or the threads on the matter in every single feedback forum iteration that garner more traffic than any of the pinned official topics.
