Also, play the new Alpine map to understand why ECM is the way it is. After playing it, I finally truly understood why the Devs didn't understand the ECM QQ. Having said that, I still think that 1.5 ton piece of passive equipment needs some refining.

Not using ECM is not playng as the game is intended, at least after PGI.

The game is built around information, ammunition, and teamwork. If you can't do all three, focus hard on one. If you can't do even one properly, get better, or get out.
ECM was always going to be a core pillar of how the game works, and you'd be foolish to pretend otherwise.
