since ECM dosent seem to be going anywhere and i refuse to play till its gone is it time for me to uninstall the game??

lol dont uninstall it. you will just waste time reinstalling it later when you want to play it. just wait n be patient. unless ur really short of space.

Newsflash! It isn't going away and the best you can hope for are some tweaks to it. However, you may want to try a few games before doing any uninstalling. Things have changed a little and people have generally adapted since it was first introduced.

Also, play the new Alpine map to understand why ECM is the way it is. After playing it, I finally truly understood why the Devs didn't understand the ECM QQ. Having said that, I still think that 1.5 ton piece of passive equipment needs some refining.

Playing against an ECM mech forces you to be a better player. Whats wrong with that? When was the last time you played? It really isn't a big deal anymore...

but my favorite weapn is now usless unless i use tag and the enemy never moves.

besides i have barely played since ECM first came.

FYI my aim isnt the steadest in battle and random players are iffy in terms of teamwork

MWO has become ECM Warrior.
Not using ECM is not playng as the game is intended, at least after PGI.

I think the best solution for you would not be to uninstall but to join a faction or merc corp, work with your new team and defeat ECM. Instead of constantly being frustrated you will probably get a lot more enjoyment out of the game. With a good team a solid LRM boat is a valuable team mate.

The game is built around information, ammunition, and teamwork. If you can't do all three, focus hard on one. If you can't do even one properly, get better, or get out.

ECM was always going to be a core pillar of how the game works, and you'd be foolish to pretend otherwise.

It's been awhile since this guy has posted. And the ignore function still works. Although they could adjust it to just not show the thread at all on the main page.
