and yes, I'm signed up (twice!) for pgi's newsletters and announcements and have two logins. Neither address is receiving spam you are describing.

The explanation sits in the header of the E-mail message. Here is a hint, you don't understand how E-mail works or how easy it is a phish an E-mail Address.
