I also like the whining of guys, crying for some sort of "choose your mech after you know the map".
Guys u CAN play your Cheesebuilds on the new map. You won´t get the same dmg numbers, you may die before u even do some DMG - but u CAN play them.
Have u ever thought about, that u are ruining players experiences in that game. When i am piloting one of my Atlas, i DO NOT want to be a two-/threeshot for guys, waiting behind some corner, or running straight into me and pressing MB1. Its a freakin Atlas, the biggest and scariest Mech out there. I wanna have long fights, where i gotta use Torso twists to spread dmg, where i loose my arm to protect my already dmged torso. If i get headshotted thats a matter of skill, but not boating srms and run into me. If i die to swarms of LRMS, it is my own fault to be said here, since i know the meaning of cover.
Next thing is - balancing matches with mechs choosen when u already know which map is comming, neither makes sense (except for ppl who like to stomp others with specialised builds) nor is it possible to balance matches then. Because team A picks 1light, 4meds, 2 heavys and 1 assaults, and team B picks 3 lights, 0 meds, 1 heavys and 4 assaults - because thats their mechs specialized for map a or map b ... . I hope u got the point.
So plz stop your whining, balance your builds and build up aiming, movement and heat management skills.
I would bet, most of this whiners will find that they aren´t nearly as good as they thought.
Just another last thing to think about is this one. High dmg numbers are mostly a sign of bad aiming, and/or LRM/SRM boating. Because high dmg numbers indicate nothing else than u are spreading your dmg all over the entire mech, instead of focusing your fire on a critical location of the mech and bring it down as fast as possible. Dont believe me? Try to kill someone with a nice and clean headshot, and do no dmg for the rest of the round and TA TA u got a kill with just a few points of dmg - strange isn´t it?
PGI - u are giving us a very good game here - keep up the good work, and bring us more of that awesome stuff u did till now 111

Wait a second, do you actually enjoy the whining of others? I know that I sure as hell don't.

WHAT WILL be great is if some of them actually go away now that they cant just beat up people match after match...
You know, not being able to do that isnt attractive to that sort of person... Sick isnt it?
But whats nice is that short term loss is greatly offset by new player retention.

I will enjoy picking my best builds for playing Warfare then, but playing Pub is for fun, and also this is a F2P game, so there will be many ppl out there only having their 4 slots full of mechs, with simply not the option to choose the right mech for every map. So this game would go in the direction of pay to win. And be honest - do you need such an option to be superior to other players? Is it your intention to stomp such players out of the game?
Bobcat i have to agree that some ppl can give u a hard time to hit the same spot again and again, and thats the fights i am looking for and also the reason why i wrote the term mostly. But most guys u see on matches dealin high numbers of damage are like this:

I am really lookin forward to CW and to the option to select your best Mechs and Builds for each map, but this is a playground for competitive players, not for the hughe majority of puplic players.

Best go find something else to get me out of my pain machine.
Good pilots adapt and overcome, 6packs have always been about dictating the fight, its harder on Alpine but still doable.

I am just amused about the whiners that CANNOT adapt, and then cry for some changes to hold their self believed OP´nes up.
I also adapted to SRM boats by simply adjusting my Atlases setup and choose my fights there, where they just can´t close in without gettin blown away before they reach me.

Do not bother... the map is not that good its just large with some mountains.
Funny thing the grid in the map has the same amount of sectors like the small ones...
Begs the question did they hardcode their map or did they just made a regular sized map and then shrunk the objects in it and modified the rangefinder

Do you know what is pitty... Hex Pilots will never enjoy the trill of a fight - its just close...press fire and kill.
They will never feel in the same way as i did after i have fought the hell of a fight with my Atlas vs two Hunchbacks
They will never feel the satisfaction of circling around a Atlas with your Centurion...where every step could be your last.
