My God, what is the point of ELO skill balancing when you now seem to allow completely unbalanced mech drops? We just rolled some poor team 8-0, we had 3 Atlas + 2 Stalkers + 1 Cat + 1 Med + 1 light, the other side didn't have a single Assault mech, and was composed of 1 Cat, 3 Trenchbuckets + 2 other meds and 2 lights. We probably out tonned them by 300 tons.
C'mon PGI, get your act together, this is even worse than before ELO, what does it matter if we are supposedly matched in skill with the other side and our own PUGmates when the other side has zero chance in an actual battle due to the mismatched tonnage of the drop?
Of course, as has been said myriad times, this would be solved by having a real drop lobby like other similar games have (WoT, for an example)...which would have the added bonus of less people doing simultaneous dropping and other rigs to play with and/or against your choice of players...
