@Spokes, no worries, I took a long break, just wanted to make sure you were still around.

@Sparks, I know the feeling, don't worry it, post when you can, or if you need some time, I'll run Fishy for a bit 'till you get time to pick him up again. Just let me know.

Sorry Shep, but I couldn't resist a little bit of "turn about" from our first engagement. :D

Li is actually a pretty good distance away from everyone else-- it would take her a while to wade through the river to reach Shepherd's position.

Thank you <_< That line reminded me of Hugo Weaving's line from 'Return of the King.' It had a nice ring to it and felt right at that time.

Have to say that the more I RP Mr. Billy Bones, the more I like him.

GW you might want to read thom's post and edit. both of you are pulling the raven out of the mud without saying that the other one is there.

dude it happens. why don't you try to draw off several of the tanks into the zhukovs?

since they are our support you would still be within reason.

Sparks already had one peel off, and I just killed the other. Okay then.... I got a plan. I should be able to fix it.

i mean the zhukovs were 4 out. considering what we have already done they should be in any minute now. you draw 1-2 to them they can wipe them out in short order and that would only leave what, 5 Po's left?

Because that leaves our CO and benevolent gracious GM exposed in a bad way. Who wouldn't take a pot shot at a sitting duck like that with the great chance of being able to score a quick and easy kill.

And I fixed it.

I don't mean to criticize you, GW, but Vega has already spoken on the company's channel since the explosion. So I think it's safe to say that the Wolfhound is up or at least doing something.

You may want to edit it to that you help cover Shep and Bone's withdrawal from the river, flank the tanks to ease up pressure on Spokes/Fishy and/or aid out Vega someway.

Just some thoughts.

Actually, I thought Havok was down for the count too. . .

"Antonio barely had time to realize he'd made a huge mistake before the shockwave took his light mech right off its feet, throwing it back against a boulder, crushing armor plate and smashing Havoks head back against his headrest. Setting off a dizzying array of lights flashing past Antonio's vision as he slumped in his ejector set."

The mental picture I have in my head is. . .

Bones is in the river with Shepherd roughly halfway between Eddiesburg (north bank) and Hallwood (south bank)

Mist is in the river on the Eddiesburg side (north bank) and moving. . .eastward? Towards Jarrund?

Fishy was in the river prior to the explosion, fairly close to Mist. As far as I know, it sounds like his Dervish is prone in the water.

Havok is unconscious or at least "punch drunk" from the explosion and his 'Mech is prone. It may or may not be in the river.

Spokes has reached the riverbank roughly 500 meters west of the rest of the group. The river turns to the north at this point, so she is facing eastwards across the water. She is currently trading fire with a Po, but with Bones, Shade and Shepherd pressing forward I think that tank will likely try to withdraw.

It's up to the GM if the defenders in Eddiesburg attempt to hold the river bank or pull back to another defensive position.

Wolf, I was under the impression that your Hawk's blade arm was disabled?

Eh, that's an easy enough fix, though it does mean you're going to have to discard your dagger if you want to drag the Wolfhound.

Just a note for all concerned, I looked the Po up in the 3058 TRO, and that tank has a ridiculous amount of armor protection. . .

Front: 40
Sides: 32
Rear: 30
Turret : 34

And yeah that's a given. Though one thing that you must remember, tanks don't really have any armor, up top.
