I know elo and MM3 are off to a rocky start but I am confident it'll be an improvement over what we've had so far and will get better as the system gathers more data and as you guys make more adjustments.

Now, given that, I'd implore you to make New User Flow the next highest priority. Why you ask? Because I still have a fair number of casual and not-so-casual gaming buddies waiting in the wings who'd I'd bully and blackmail to get into the game. However, the two major complaints were the lack of tutorials/training grounds and the matchmaking. One is obviously taken care of so the other remains the lynchpin, moreso for the casuals.

I look forward to March.

That said, I dug out my old Transformers: The Movie soundtrack CD.

Damn, I used to play Mechwarrior 2 to this.

Time to give it a go in Mechwarrior Online.

1986, the original series aired in '84. All of my mechs are named after various Transformers since I couldn't resist calling my Atlas Devastator.

So what really needs to be added is a quick tutorial/test map where newbies can learn controls, spend a few seconds in 3rd person to understand that their legs move separately from their torso, and test out the various weapons on dummy targets for heat/damage/weapon type explanations.
