Is there any training room or something where only I have to drive the robot? Or fight against these same novice.
I still do not manage well the robot, and put me in the battle against experienced players so I do not have the time to learn I manage the robot.

it was stickied but someone decided that easy directions is not the best way to go about things.

Its public TS not owned by any corp/house, you can join in any of the dropships.
Always someone around to help out.

There is no "training room" but PGI are looking into it.

Yeah in ask the devs 31 IIRC, they said we will have the option of private matches in the future as well as sort of a proving grounds level.

As for public teamspeaks, I would recommend the No Guts No Galaxy server and they host the podcasts on there as well. Always some good guys on there.

Also if the headset is your concern, a $20 VOIP headset from Walmart works just fine and there is also the option of typing to chat as well.

A testing/training area is planned but not yet implemented.

You will have to learn how to drive your mech while in a live match. don't worry about it, we all had to start the same way.

I have not played a game like this, and only in the 1st person.
So it's a little difficult to get used to it and I'm not on the field long to get used to the game. : (

Then I'm going to wait a testing/training area.

No pun intended but your decision makes no sense. You would actually benefit from playing live matches as you can actively observe your teammates' and your enemy's tactics while also learning to pilot your mech.

No matter what you choose, fact is that you will have to put in several hours of practice no matter how much time you have spare so it makes little sense to walk the prairie on boring test grounds shooting at practice targets...
Trust me when I say that this would become VERY boring VERY quickly. I played a few thousand live matches myself since closed beta and I think it is realistic to say that you will get the hang of your torso/leg orientation after a max. of 4-5 hours of gameplay....and you will have fun doing it this way
