Dear PGI,

Just letting you know that the State Rewind for lasers is working very well here in Australia (for myself anyway). After 5 games running a Jenner at full speed I am over 93% accuracy and my damage count for the game is much better than previously.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!

Now I feel that I can now aim for the damaged areas on mechs and really add my value to the team.

On another note I have seen a bunch of ravens getting totally owned in game as well.

I am not quite sure what of the 2 above statements brings a bigger smile on my face! ;)

Cheers!!!!!!
Eboli

Do lasers go the other way around in the toilet when you flush your coolant?

I play overnight here in the US. Glad to hear things are getting better for my Oceanic friends.

Average ping is about 245-260. Usually a 4ml and 2xsrm4 setup on my Jenner.

Absolutely amazing. I can actually hit things now without having to guess the lead amount.

Thank you so much!

Looks like PGI found themselves a good network engineer.

Average ping out of Sydney for me is around the 240-250 range.

Looking forward to lazoring the legs off of a particular light mech thatshallnotbenamed.

I've got about the same ping as Finghaz and Eboli, though sometimes it's as bad as 410. Just had a round in my 4P and did surprisingly well. Now if I could just un-learn to account for lag... ;)

Oh and I guess this means we no longer have a need for regional servers......

Fantastic at 305ms average ping.I live in Brisbane, so I believe all traffic goes via Sydney, and my ISP is sort of dodgy. It's still a bit off (I feel like I'm hitting at the rear end of their movement, rather than the front), but the improvement is colossal. Can't wait to see it in for projectiles, along with some fixes to the Raven's hitbox.

Won't be able to play for a few days, but this sounds really great as my ping is usually in the 250 area. Lasers always had the most lead time and were pretty damn frustrating. Lets hope the state rewind for ballistics and missiles is soon.

Bloody hell - don't start giving them ideas! Missiles, ballistics and so-on are still affected by lag.

They are doing ballistics and missiles at a later patch. It'd be a bit stupid to fix lasers and nothing else.

Ah, right. Well I'm still not convinced that we won't need regional servers somewhere down the line. Just walking around in the testing grounds feels infinitely smoother than in an actual match.

Only from the EU and my ping is "only" around 150 (at least last night it was, normally i am better), but yeah: Lasers were finally acurate!
It was soooo fun chasing those ravens away ;)

Positive results from Melbourne as well. It's nice to be able to hit a specific chassis segment rather than just being happy with hitting the enemy at all.

Very nicely done on this one, dev team.

This is the hardest thing I have had to do in MWO. Bar nothing.

Chiming in on the thanks bandwagon (even though my average ping is 110ms), I now no longer need to lead Ravens (or Assault Mechs in some cases). Thank you very much.
