I live in Brisbane, so I believe all traffic goes via Sydney, and my ISP is sort of dodgy.

Man all ISPs here are dodgy!

Yes much better now. Light kamikaze runs are very short now. Played 4 games yesterday and for first time I wasn't afraid of lights running around like flies. Now every one needs to work for theirs piece of boo. Point is... light mech advantage is in speed and maneuverability as it should be, not in lag shield. No more single cicadas circling around 3 assaults without consequences in the open, pilots now need to actually learn how to effectively drive those bugs meaning plenty will possibly give up and switch to heavier chassis and some will shine. As well lights to be effective now need to actually work with the big fellas not as a single ninjas ;)
So yes absolutely improvement... Europe ping around 110 - 150

I mostly drive a Founders Catapult outfitted with 2xLPL 2xMPL 2xSSRM.

Where once I had to be content to pummel opposing Mech's with constant scattered damage I find I can now use the loadout as it was intended - a scalpel.

Splatcat pilots beware, when you turn to face me in an attempt to disgorge short range missiles of doom, I can finally drill a 26 damage hole into your cranium.

Loving State Rewind - 280-300 ping here.

at last us overseas p;ayers are not having the system set us up as noobs because it looks like we can't hit the broad side of a barn.

the stigma's GONE! we are at last FREE! to wield our skills like they were meant to be!

Yep, I played 11 matches and just saw one Raven 3L swarm. Which still got us :-P But there were very few lights in the matches. And my Lasercat got more kills and assists than in previous matches.

Thx PGI for state rewind. Can't wait to drive my Jenner and go raven chasing xD

They still have to fix my PPC fire delay and accuracy then all will be well. ;)

I have similar results. Ping of 250-300 and LAZORS MUCH? Works better than ever. Thanks PGI (but keep working, there is still much to fix! ;))

I'm distinctly in the high end of the lag range- 280ms at best from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Had two matches in my Treb last night. Basically 2 LRM-15s for plugging big boys that my spotters have targeted, and 3 medium lasers for sorting out cheeky lights that get close.

Fought 2 Ravens and a Stalker with the lasers, and sitting at over 90% accuracy with them! I can actually hit things! Phase 1 of netcode was great, but this is just awesome. Can't wait for ballistics to get the same love, they're definitely my preferred medium for pain delivery.

This sounds great. Haven't had a chance to play after the patch yet, but is sounds absolutely wonderful.

Of course even though this helps a lot of players I'm fairly certain I will continue to suck on account of not actually being a very good pilot, but hey, some of us have to make the rest of you look good, right? ;)

I couldn't really test afte the patch, so I ask here: With lasers (and 150ms lag), do we still have to lead fast targets? Or can we target directly center of mass?

I'm near Dr Killinger, but my connection is even more archaic and sporadic - I average 430ms, with spikes all the way through 5000-plus from time to time.... i've yet to try a drop since the patch.... sounds promising though!

As mentioned before, now comes time to UN-LEARN the lag-shooting technique i've acquired over the months...
