I average aorund 310ms out on the plots in Pretoria but I was having to much fun with my 4ppc stalker last night to test out any laser builds.
Does sound though like i should go dust off that 6LL build I use to run around in back when the stalker came out.
Maybe I should look at a 5LPL stalker hmmmm...

Awesome news. Maybe we'll finally start getting some unadultered feedback on how good fast mechs really are.

And I love the idea of no longer having to lead my shots. ... and the laser beam lights are also going to be a lot better at hunting down those annoying streakers. Happy day.

They still have to fix my PPC fire delay and accuracy then all will be well.

Funnily enough I run my K2 Pult with dual ER PPCS and only have a little trouble getting the right amount of lead to hit targets, Especially if they are far away, up close its a different story
.
The laser fix is so overdue its not funny, but I'm a super happy camper now it is here

So true. For the time being I keep missing ravens in circle jerks because I am used to leading them. I need to train this away again.

As for Ravens getting blasted more, I have been killed just as easily as always and usually from my own inexperiance or stupid mistakes.

And it'll be even sweeter once ballistic and SRM state rewind is in too. I tried out testing grounds and gasped at how good it felt to not have lag when using ballistics. If we can get that into the game, that'll be perfect.

waaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppppppp!!!!!!!!
but yeah..it's awesome now I no longer need to lag shoot again with lasers ( don't have a clue though is the state rewind also affecting the ballistics? )
the only downside of it....as someone here already mentioned...getting rid of the lag shoot instinct......

Well an obvious downside is that a person on the receiving end of being shot can't torso twist to spread damage against a person with 300ms ping. as the enemy shooting you has already finished firing his weapons before you have time to react. presuming a beam duration of 500ms 300ms latency + 90ms latency for reaction + latency of actual torso twist.
thats about the only downside.
Things shift in favour of the attacker with host state rewind which im okay with.

My ping is 160 with spikes of 200-210 (in certain maps, dont know why), what will happen in this case?
