I know a lot of us have issues with the current game and or want so much more out of it. I know there has been a few times I came close to quitting or have decided to step away for a few weeks and wait for the next patch and additions. But for the most part I have continued to support the game, buy MC and spend it on things to make my game experience a bit more enjoyable.

So to show that I still (for the most part) support this game... Not because its PGI behind it but because I have been waiting for a great MW game, I'm going to share with the community my overall MC spent to date.

60,698 MC spent to date.

Is that a lot compared to some others? Probably not. But I'm sure a good amount of you like myself have spent well over a few hundred dollars on this game and or more. And will continue to do so.

I'm not starting this thread as a place to brag that I, you or he/she as spent more on the game so that makes you better than anyone else... But more so to show that even though a lot of us complain at times and say this or that is wrong for the game, we still support it by pumping money into it.

Free to pay games can be very expensive.

I have spent my founders. Need more content (new maps, not reskins, and game modes) before I spend any more.
Though I will buy some mc if they fix the Ravens hitbox. I promised to pay for those cheese-users tears.

Edit; you cannot really say that its wasted. Some men buy a prostitute, others drink it away in front of the TV and some spend them on gaming.

I have just over 4k left of my founders MC's. I own all 55 of the non-hero mechs.

Sure I can. It's not like we're talking $15/mo for a sub-based game.

And Joseph spent over $400. I, personally, can't see the purpose in spending that much money, when most of what they'd have had to spend it on they could have obtained just by playing a bit.

Totally agree on this. All purchases are subjective.

Founders and another 25k. Have about 19k left of the second purchase. Will most likely buy more MC when the next sale occurs.

Yes it may seem extreme for most people but it is still not wasted. We use cash on whatever brings us joy. Lots of stuff is overpriced. We still buy it. Beer here in Norway is ludicrously priced. I still buy lots. I would buy the same even if it was more expensive. Because I ******** enjoy beer.

Yours seems reasonable to me. It would be another 2x 25k, or 3 more 25k purchases to meet the numbers those other guys posted. Sorry, my "absurd" meter pegged out when I read those.

i would not call it wasted. I have the extra money each month to use as I want. My bills are payed, my family has no wants or needs and I have a nice nest egg. My wife would rather have me at home with her and my son and spend $30 to $40 a week on a game I like than out at the bar or who knows where, doing who knows what. So I don't see it as wasted.

Forgot to say, to those folks who've bought large quantities of MC's: Thanks for funding the game we all get to play.

Without you, IGP might get more sway and force PGI to do things which hurt the long term future of this game.

"Playing a bit" doesn't quite capture how long it takes to grind anywhere. I'm not complaining about the grind, I'm just saying that when it comes to the time vs money argument, everyone draws their line in a different place depending on where they are in life. In my case, I'm 40 and settled, so money isn't the issue it used to be. But I have 3 young kids, and they are hard freakin work. So time is WAY more precious than money right now. I'd MUCH rather pay a few bucks and skip to the good stuff than play hundreds of games to grind to the equipment I want. And by a few bucks, I mean a few hundred bucks like Yoseful and Joseph. In fact, I've just barely got Joseph beat.

Man, you guys spend a lot of MC... All I can bring myself to buy with MC is mechbay slots, I think I've got 23 mechs now (plus 80mil CBills in the bank). I still have around 15,200 left from my original 20k...

I can't even bring myself to buy more premium time until I see how their artillery pans out... dunno how you guys do it, lol.

1,000 MC... of my Founder's Injection... because of Urbs... I think the game needs a bit more polish and such to warrant spending the rest and buying more... haven't even started Premium Time...

I wasted a lot of MC converting MXP to GXP and until they give us a good MC sale, I'm not buying any more.

Well.. unless the unseen magically get added to the game.. then I would spend a lot.
