  3. I dont care about the TT rules but I still dont like the idea of 360 (123 votes [22.32%])

  5. (But) I dont care either way (6 votes [1.09%])

Tell us what YOU think of 360 torso twist.

Just as an FYI, the mechs that had 360 torso twisting in MW4 were - Raven, Thanatos, Vulture, Thor. I believe that was it. Only 4 out of a hundred different chassis could do it. Consider this before voting.

Where's the option for: "I'm going to wait until I actually play/test the game and see the results first hand as oppose to off the cuff presumptions of how this mechanic is going to play out in MWO" ?

Makes no sense for the hardwiring stuff.
You will just cut off the wires to the legs after some 360° turns

Well.. I guess you would have had to have played MW4 to understand how having 360 mechs would enhance the game, or the effects of...and what level of skill it takes in actual practice of, rather than speculation.

I believe how it was in MW4 will be just as relevant of the effects of how it would be in MWO

No thank you. It was kind of cool in MW4, but it's too skill-less IMO.

Ummmm no, super man no here. Some who is better than you at piloting would be completely under cut by your 360 torso's ability to always keep track of them. Thus a 360 torso requires LESS skill not more.

It's quite true. I played MW4 quite a bit, I enjoyed using 'Mechs that had it, and 'Mechs that didn't... but I think it should be left out, at least for now. I wouldn't mind if it might be added at a later date, if deemed plausible by the devs.

Though I do agree it needs less skill, I will note that it doesn't let players with it to 'always keep track of' their targets. That kind of assumptive fallacy needs to be left at the door, please.

Not..... really...... Myself and others who have actually piloted 360 mechs can reliably tell you... that is does IN FACT, take more skill.

As long as there is a tradeoff for 360 torso twist and it is only on a few mechs, then its fine in my book.

Loved the raven with 360 in MW4. For the most part 360 torso twist was fine until mektek started adding assaults and a bunch of other mechs with it.

dude 360 twist is epic get it for your vulture in MW:4 and just reap them as thay try and close in on you in vain, also running away from an atlas and firing at it at the same time are realy helpfull in staying alive.

and honestly i havnt found a mech so far with a twist range that didnt at lest "seem logical" like the atlas just cant freaking twist much at all but the hampton can witch makes sence the hampton is lower and built on a better larger platform so its arms dont get in the way as much.

personaly hate low twist mechs i love running around an enimy and firing at them from odd angles with clan AC20 or AMX20 PPCs and flamers are nice for dealing damage at range and slowing down your enemys fire rate

The... Hampton...? Oh, you mean Hauptmann? It's named after a rank, not a town. ... and flamers at range? What? They're short-range, aren't they..?

Yes, because there's a downside to having 360 degree torso twisting. Man, compensating for that non-existent downside must take lots of skill!

Really, a little practice and it's not hard at all.

The problem in this scenrio is that by running away, the atlas pilot will have easy straight line shots at the retreating vulture while simply following it. Where the vulture pilot has to not only concentrate on mainting a missle lock(assuming its a missle boat), but also concentrate on where he is going... backwards. In my experience, a retreating enemy, even with 360, is at a disadvantage, unless they are really really fast and get to cover.

Exactly... it takes practice... hence higher skill.

It's true. However, Teralitha just clings to his flawed falsehoods as 'fact' and 'evidence' that he's right, regardless. He's in his own little world. I played MW4, I made good use of the 'Mechs with 360 and without... I can tell you it's not harder to pilot. However, you can be lured into being a derp and just try and follow an enemy 'Mech outrunning your twist speed, never catching up, as they rip you apart...

Why would you add such thing? It's not canon and only thing it helps is noobish behavior.
