Star Trek is far more advanced, if your going to compare hypothetical's...you might give Star trek a run for its money with either Babylon 5 or Battlestar Galactica. But all in all my money is on Fireflys reapers! Until That Day!

I LOVE bsg, but not they don't have a chance against the fed.
They have what, two dozen battlestars, that still use solid projectiles?

I think maybe bsg vs bt would be a much closer match :-)

There's something that doesn't really get mentioned too often -- beaming is a massive advantage for ST... the only reason beaming isn't a threat in ST universe is that everyone has shields .. any universe without shields is a gonner.

and even with this beamign, they don't even sue the full potential of beaming, you cna beam any object so whatever you like. bema poison in a ships life supports. beam out important electrics, or just a bomb into the reacor or whatever nasty weird stuff for some instant wins.

You know that most capital class ships and even many smaller crafts in SW have shields, right?
