Just because there are already oversized mediums doesn't mean they should continue the trend.

I took that post as sarcasm. If it wasn't.....

Can you take that pic with a Treb or cent instead of a hunchback?

And a quickdrawn if you are feeling frisky.

Another. Locust isn't that much smaller than a spider.

Somebody did a comparison by putting a Jenner on that exact spot, and it turned out that the Locust was only slightly smaller than the Jenner. I'll see if I can find the image.

A Jenner is 35 tons and a Locus is 20. The Locust is going to have paper armor that a large laser can penetrate. It's slze is going to be its only real defense.

The Shadowhawk also looks rediculous. I understand they probably have a number of people working on these game models, but how hard is it to roll your chair into your collegues cube and say "hey, would you mind pulling up my mech next to yours to check the scale?"

All fast mediums and heavies are huge it's how PGI decided to balance out the fact that hit reg on fast mechs is terrible. It's an idiotic way to do it in my opinion but it is what it is.

The camera distance, angle and even position on the map that these mechs are standing relative to one another are all different.

It is entirely possible that the scale of these mechs are different, but until you have a side by side comparison or an exact replication of the shot for each mech you're attempting to compare, scale isn't going to be very accurately determined.

Notice I said nothing about light mechs.

Regardless the spider was launched at a time when hit reg was similar for all lights and the small size was likely intended to compensate for the terrible hard points.

True, but it's cause for alarm. Many people paid big money for these gundams. It'd be be wise of PGI to not release more quickdraw abominations,

On a positive note, we still have a good reason to post funnies that people made ages ago.

camara angles and zooming is the culprit here. Wait till it's in game and then complain.

I'd rather PGI takes some good pics of all the mechs, next to something like a hunchback.

People are popping down 80 buckaroos for these things sight unseen, they have right to know if their purchase is going to be terrible outside of nostalgia.
