No they don't. Whoever told you this is wrong.

Look up the Highlander release, which was in fact the day they broke the original release schedule.

I also support that theory, but it stands and falls with the fact we haven't got the last IS assault yet.

I forget where they said it, and it's been quoted in this thread multiple times but they have said they will be implementing 32 total IS mechs. However that doesn't mean the chassis will be represented equally (8,8,8,8). In one of the older Ask the Devs I was reviewing Garth mentioned that not all weight classes would be represented equally on the field. Though considering the Clans invade with 4 assault mechs it's extremely likely we'll see at least 1 more to balance it out.

That doesn't explain anything, that's like saying because there was a big gap between the Spider and the Flea that IGP made them do that for no apparent reason.

im guessing they decided to skip janauary and reveal the final I.S Assault in Febuary, that way they can reveal the first Clan mech in time for the invasion in march.

Oh my god please dont let them introduce clan mechs in march. The game is going through enough growing pains today, last thing we need is to turn the game completely on its head by introducing uber clan tech.

Are you referring to the next 'mech to be announced? Do you have a link to that particular conversation?

Adridos is right. The Highlander "happening" was the marketing guys' idea.

And of course there won't be clans in the game so soon. They can show us the concept arts though...

You don't know much about what a publisher does do you? They are in charge of marketing such as advertisements, box art, what comes with the CE and SE editions and all that. They are also in charge of game info like what is released and what isn't. Basically IGP is the puppeteer and any all studios under them are the puppets. So yes, they DO decide when and where and how each mech, feature, and anything else will be released.

With only 9 tons of (locked) armor? I hope you have prepared yourself for massive disappointment.

Why would I be disappointed in one of my favorite mechs?

Because it has about as much armor as a fully armored Cicada.

Can we please, please get a reseen Marauder instead of the Orion? The Orion is just going to mirror the cataphract but with even less variety between the variants.

No, the Orion is just fine. You will probably NEVER see any of the Unseen/Reseen mechs. Unless maybe if PGI makes so much money that they can afford the legal battle and/or the IP. So go! Go buy MC! Buy enough and you may see your Unseen!
