So many really want the UrbanMech...Why??? Truly useful only in urban environs, too slow and vulnerable otherwise in my opinion.

It is a noble and majestic creature. Not known for speed or grace or dignity, but rather for its resilience, bravery, grit, and determination. It's the Rudy Ruettiger of the Battletech universe - the tiny mech that tries so big.

I know the tmeline and when MRMs show up, but I want the UM-68 - Eschewing the autocannon, this Draconis Combine variant carries an MRM-30. The added damage potential proved a nasty surprise to Clan Ghost Bear during the Combine-Ghost Bear War.

I would also take a UM-70 - The Federated Suns^[6] -70 model is an upgrade that has greater potential than the -R63. The -70 uses Ferro-Fibrous armor and mounts a Rotary Autocannon/5, which can fire up to six times the normal rate of fire. For backup weapons, it carries an Extended Range Medium Laser and Extended Range Small Laser.
