I don't necessarily want to drive an Urbie, but I definitely want one as a bobblehead in my cockpit.

This is a damn good idea.

A Space Marine could kill 5 Elementals without breaking a sweat. What's the point anyway? ;)

I kind of like this idea. At the end of Mechwarrior: Online you have a lance of four Urbanmechs on a podium, and an Atlas kneel down and say:

"No, little Urbies, you bow to no one."

I want the Urban Mech too. I won't pilot one, but I do so love to watch their reactors breach.

If they tried to bow, they'd topple over. And the Atlas needs to watch it's step: If it steps on one, the urbie will breach and take out the other 3 with it.

I just had a vision... picture a city... inside said city 4 Urban Mechs are patrolling down the street. I come racing around the corner in my Jenner loaded up with flamers and race through the middle, burning every Urbie in my path as I race by. Screaching to a halt I turn and watch as they pop like the little tin cans they are from overheating reactors.... damn... looks like the 4th of July... its... its.... BEAUTIFUL!!! ;)

Forgive me, I've never understood the fascination with urbanmech's. Why intentionally make a light mech that slow. Any pilot can simple slow down their mech in the tight quarters of the city and accomplish the same thing, but retain the flexibility of the speed when needed. I welcome anyone to enlighten me on what it is about these mechs that I'm missing, but I have always thought of them as nothing more that target practice or minor annoyances at best.

I've always been amazed at the Urbies cult following.

Personally I dont get, but at some point their just gonna have to put it in before this happens, Urbie loyalists are nuts.

You scratched the paint job! Against 4 urbies! I told you that you needed more practice in the sims before you went into the field!

So many really want the UrbanMech...Why??? Truly useful only in urban environs, too slow and vulnerable otherwise in my opinion.

More power to them, it'll make it easier for me to total their urbie with my Atlas that way ;)

Sir, i like 40k a lot too, but this is so wrong...
Sergeant Mkoll instead would beat 5 elementals before breakfast... just to keep in training. ;)
