When I made "This is mechwarrior Online" I got to spectate both amercican and england/germany based teams.

What I noticed is that the american teams played a LOT more aggressive, which has lead to more intense brawls but way less tactics and movement. It basically came down to who had the better weapons or the most luck in winning the 1v1 trades.

The european units tend to go in way more thought through and sometimes wouldnt move at all. Sniping over the whole map was a thing and they monitored their enemy's movement very close.

Thats the difference between EU and NA gaming groups that I experienced

Well, when it comes to organized teams it's completely different. I was talking about pugs.

It does reflect somewhat to pugs also because people within units tend to practice those things in there. Also mentality spreads.

I find most na players are aholes in pugland far more than eu. Americans like to fight and have rambo syndrome to go after any target they spot. Eu players tend to sit in a spot and try and scout out the enemy before sniping and bombing with arty. Americans also use a lot more "meta" builds while I encounter mixed builds with eu more. I even saw a non 2 er ll build raven used in a match.

As for Europeans are better? Idk, Usually Brazilians are really easy to take out in games. I loved Planetside 2 early in the morning, when it was obviously brazilians or something, cuz they would come in packs of like 8 vs me and I would mow them down for an hour or more at a time and end with scores of 120/12, 110/9.....

And Europeans seem to be the cheaters most the time, on YT, alot of cheater videos are in French or German, so yeah....they prolly cant play w/o thier hacks. And in WoT, late at night and when its europeans playing, there was alot of follow the leader, lemming trains, 1 way or the other.

I have notice this difference as well.

EU players have a problem with being aggressive when its time to be aggressive. Like if the enemy is spread out and you can roll up one flank, they have trouble recognizing that. And it often results in losing games.

NA players on the other hand seem to have a problem with restraint. Nascaring and ramboing are definitely more prominent on the NA servers. Again it results in losing games...

Obviously the solution is an Iceland server.

That's perfectly fine. Americans don't concern themselves with facts, only what their faith dictates is the truth. It has something to do with religion taking a front seat to math and science when it comes to education.

Except that isn't the case at all. The Liberal progressives have all but tossed any inkling of teaching religion out of US schools, unless it's Islam, they have no issue with Islam. You should probably have half a clue about what your talking about before letting it dribble out of your mouth.

This left over Entity formerly known as the British Empire does not belong to Europe - it is only an Isle that is placed at the wrong side of the Atlatnic! ;)

This.

This. I prefer a European team in the early game, but Americans (or Canucks) from the mid-game on. There's a point in many matches when it's time to mass on a flank and roll (or die).

Americans are alot more selfish in their gameplay though. US guys will TK and not care, US guys will run off and let you die, just to pad thier stats. They will see you dead on t he floor and not rez you cuz they might get hurt.

Lighten up. This entire thread is a joke, with mine based on media-created stereotypes. But, it's best advised that you don't join in if you are onion-skinned. <smh>

And you obviously have a problem with Islam, most probably because FOX news is your main information source. But because the progressive liberals mainly live on the coasts, you'll be safe from their corrupting influence if you limit yourself in the Bible Belt.

Yeah I have a problem with extremists that try to subvert their way of life into any country they migrate to. Seen Sweden lately? or London? Or believe it or not parts of the US? Liberal progressives are a disease. And for the record? The internet is my main source of news, not cable television, that being said I'm old enough to know better than to support a party whose only goal is to expand government and turn the US into a socialist shithole.

One big difference I've noticed between NA pugs and EU pugs. NA pugs run like dumb idiots to the nascar often leaving assaults behind. I mean very wide nascar using too much time to actually reach the tail thinking it's a good idea. On the other hand EU players have actually difficulty pressing the W key to move their mechs.

One thing incommon tho. Both are filled with bads.

[shrug] I'm American and I find the Euro matches to be more patient and deliberate.

The American players are more aggressive, but that's not always a good thing.

^This. It's more style than quality, though I admit I feel like I can get away with a lot more during daytime US hours (Euro PT) due to the slower, less aggressive style.

The Europeans aren't less skilled. They just don't Zerg rush to doom all the time. I try to play their game when I'm on their servers, and adapt to the team. Sometimes it works. Other times I Leeeroy Jenkins into the enemy team without realizing it, thank YOU radar derp.
