I am not counting the days but I am certainly very interested in rescale and requirks.

I don't count the days. Counted or not, they will pass soon enough. The resize and whatnot will be interesting, I'm sure. But as for things in-game, I'm looking forward to the Phoenix Hawks and the Butterbee Catapult. While there are more preorder packs on the way (Viper, Night Gyr), I'm also looking forward to HBS's Battletech game, but I know it's still some time out.

Nothing makes the days pass slower than counting them.

Well, it's gonna be the 2nd largest re-balance ever done to this game so you'd better be ready for that (quircks introduction being the first - but June patch might be even bigger though).

What's bothering me is that there are no informations (yet) about this huge change to come, even on the Website.

Resize? I damn well hope the Jenner stops being the size of a Locust, and the KFX stops being the size of a Nova.

I don't understand, will all robots become smaller? They will take proportions ofc, but everything will be way smaller in comparison to the terrain?

While I agree that the Catapult size is wrong compared to other mechs in the game, I like the actual Catapult's model a lot. I hope that with the resize the new model will feel "right" to me...

No, they standardized the side (or, better, the volume) of each mechs in relations to tonnage. So some mechs will be bigger, other smaller, but mechs with similar tonnage will have similar volumes. So we won't have Griffins that are almost the size of an assault...

BlackJacks are getting bigger for instance, Crabs too.

I know I am.

Praying for some love for the Dragons. The new ST hitbox takes up too much real estate for being ~20 points fewer than the now narrow stripe of CT. Make it wider and shorter. I love how it looks now, but I would trade that for not being the nerf'd stick it is now.

A bonus would be removing the missile quirks. Can't fit a SRM in it if you want to be up close because the STD takes up too much weight and an LRM10 is only good for kill stealing. Dual streaks are meh at best and that's only 1 variant.

I heard about the resize, but requirk? To what do you refer?

Apparently some mechs were issued massive struct/armor quirks due to their excessive size and/or unfavourable hitbox distributions. With the resize, obviously mechs that were oversized (and had armor quirks) would stand to lose them, as it would no longer be necessary.

Oh, I see. So they're changing hitboxes too? Cos merely resizing a mech does not really change the distribution of its hitboxes, and therefore does not justify the complete removal of quirks.

I'm confident that PGI will take that into account (Hint: I'm not at all confident, and fully expect some mechs to become useless).

They aren't changing hit boxes shape but hit boxes' sizes will change with the model of course.

Robots are autonomous. Mechs require pilots. Get it right people.
