Nothing makes the days pass slower than counting them.

What's bothering me is that there are no informations (yet) about this huge change to come, even on the Website.

While I agree that the Catapult size is wrong compared to other mechs in the game, I like the actual Catapult's model a lot. I hope that with the resize the new model will feel "right" to me...

No, they standardized the side (or, better, the volume) of each mechs in relations to tonnage. So some mechs will be bigger, other smaller, but mechs with similar tonnage will have similar volumes. So we won't have Griffins that are almost the size of an assault...

Praying for some love for the Dragons. The new ST hitbox takes up too much real estate for being ~20 points fewer than the now narrow stripe of CT. Make it wider and shorter. I love how it looks now, but I would trade that for not being the nerf'd stick it is now.
A bonus would be removing the missile quirks. Can't fit a SRM in it if you want to be up close because the STD takes up too much weight and an LRM10 is only good for kill stealing. Dual streaks are meh at best and that's only 1 variant.

Apparently some mechs were issued massive struct/armor quirks due to their excessive size and/or unfavourable hitbox distributions. With the resize, obviously mechs that were oversized (and had armor quirks) would stand to lose them, as it would no longer be necessary.

Oh, I see. So they're changing hitboxes too? Cos merely resizing a mech does not really change the distribution of its hitboxes, and therefore does not justify the complete removal of quirks.
I'm confident that PGI will take that into account (Hint: I'm not at all confident, and fully expect some mechs to become useless).
