OK, so while it's not currently considered an actionable exploit, can people stop with the "devs think sync dropping is fine."

I mean, seriously, why would they implement a 4-man limit if they didn't expect people to actually limit their teams to 4 guys?

Couldn't they patch this pretty easily by allowing only 1 group per side per match? I feel like there's enough games being played to allow that..

i don't like paul's tone in that post. professionals should be held to a higher standard

how do you know he isn't saying HE doesn't think sync drops should cut it...that is the reason for Phase 3...don't jump to conclusions

Because stupid? It's exactly what was said previously.

Paul just made things more mixed up with that statement.

Well it tells us they're banking on phase 3 to fix all this imbalance, so for now all we can do is sit tight.

If you want to really nail them sync droppers you'll have to screenshot each scoreboard until you get two of a kind.... uh huh.

Actually, he never says that its an exploit, just that its something that will be prevented in phase 3. Thish is in line with an earlier post of his, which i cant find, where he said back in p1 that it was not an exploit.

Not to mention its almost impossible to prove since the mm regularly drops 2 random 4 mans on the same side

sync drops were never intended. Its just a way for the people hwo have been crying about having to play with pugs, and when they finally have a system so that these 8 mans dont have to play with pugs,

to now exploit the system, because now all of a sudden they miss stomping pugs.

and need to use an exploit to get more players in than intended.

Its not really actionable... if you got 2 lances queuing at the same time people may end up on the same team.

Unless we're going to ban people for suspicion of wrong activity.... which is a bad thing btw.

Is it a punishable exploit? No.
Is it an unintentional side effect of the current matchmaker? Yes.
What's going to be done about it? Phase 3.

Good job arguing semantics to defend your tenuous position. I know that sync dropping is happening because I've been mostly playing 8-mans on comstar EU with my clan lately, and when we have a hard time getting players because they're busy sync-dropping in PUG queues with competitive builds, something is wrong.

That's nothing for a Paul post lol. Also, at least unlike the IGP goons the PGI guys proofread their posts/PMs before sending em I've received a number of typo/misspelling/made up BS conjugation ridden communications from IGP mods.

I very specifically said it is *not* an actionable exploit. I'm just tired of people trying to tell us that you devs think that gaming the match maker to circumvent the 4-man limit is A-OK, and everyone should do it as much as possible.

I don;t sync drop 4vpugs is easy mode enough w/o wasting time syncing.
